Underfloor heating Insulation Boards

XPS Premium Insulation Boards are specificaly designed for use with our underfloor heating mat systems on concrete/screeded floors. They offer a balance between cost and durability and are a less expensive alternative to our Tile Backer Boards.

XPS Premium Insulation Boards are also used as a high quality insulation for our underwood heating systems, these boards are available in 6mm and 10mm thickness.

High compressive strength (30tonnes / m2), light weight, high efficiency and low cost make this thermal board an ideal choice when fitting heating on to a poorly insulated concrete or screed base.

If using with the underwood heating aluminium foil system they can be simply laid onto the surface in a staggered pattern.

For undertile systems this product must be fixed down using our flexible tile adhesive

Heat Store XPS Premium Boards can be installed differently according to the type of heating system being installed.

For our underwood heating system they are simply laid in a staggered brick bond pattern and the heating mat is laid over the top.

For undertile systems (these boards are only suitable for concrete subfloors in this situation) then the boards need to be stuck to the subfloor with a suitable flexible tile adhesive.

How much does it cost?

As standard we include FREE NEXT WORKING DAY DELIVERY to all UK mainland addresses (excluding, Channel Islands & Eire) on all heating products (this does not include tiling materials) Delivery outside the mainland UK may be arranged by prior agreement. You will be notified of the amount of the charge for this service and will at that point have to make a decision whether you wish to proceed with your order.

How long does it take?

Items ordered before 2pm on any business day (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays should be delivered next business day (excluding Saturday), anytime up to 6.00pm. The standard delivery charge does not guarantee next day delivery; however every effort is made by us & the couriers to achieve this goal. Orders taken on Friday after 2pm, Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched on Monday (excluding Bank Holidays) for delivery on Tuesday. Orders taken on Friday before 2pm will be dispatched on Friday for delivery on Monday (excluding Bank Holidays). However, We rely upon the services of third party couriers, and whilst we endeavour to always deliver in a timely manner there are unfortunately a few occasions when the couriers fail to deliver on the appointed day. This happens rarely, but because it does occur, albeit occasionally, we cannot be held responsible for the late delivery of an item, or any costs incured by customers tradesman unable to work, please ensure you have your materials before booking in any trades.
