Correct insulation forms an integral part of any properly designed and well installed underfloor heating system. We recommend and supply Marmox™ insulated tile backing boards for use with our under tile heating cables and mats

Marmox™ has a high compressive strength making it suitable for use beneath tiled floors, it also has a reinforced cement polymer coating ensuring that heating cables are not in direct contact with the insulatiing material  itself.

Minimum thickness 6mm for use above poorly insulated solid floors or 10mm minimum over timber floors. 50mm maximum thickness can be used to replace tradional sand and cement screed floors in new build conservatories (please call to order 50mm as delivery times may be longer).

Marmox boards should installed onto concrete/screeded floors using a rapid set flexible tile adhesive, do not use pre mixed adhesives.
