Our Commissioning service is simple.
You carry out the main installation work - ie lay the insulation boards, lay the matting etc to a point when your ready to wire up the thermostat. Then we take over and do the technical bit for you!
Our approved electricians will wire up your thermostat, test your electrical circuit, program the thermostat to your requirements, sign off your guarantee certificate and also provide you with a suitable Part P electrical certificate (required by law).

Our Pricing Structure is open and in most cases its very easy to work out how much it will cost to use our underfloor heating installation service.
A normal quote is as follows : (this quote is for undertile heating but we also install underwood heating)
Normal Size Bathroom approx 6m2 of tiling with 5m2 of underfloor heating
Firstly an RCD fused spur will be required to take a supply from your existing household electrics. This is chased in the wall somewhere near the bathroom and taken from a suitable nearby socket.
Cost £125
Next we install the digital thermostat. This would be positioned near the RCD fused spur and normally on your bathroom outside wall. This will be chased in the wall and positioned at normal light switch level.
Cost £90
Next we install the insulation boards. Normally over a concrete subfloor we will stick them in place with flexible tile adhesive (which you will have purchased with your materials order). For 5 meters we would charge £20 per meter.
Cost £100
Next we lay the underfloor heating on top of the insulation boards. For 5 meters we would charge £15 per meter

This underwood heating installation was carried out in a luxury apartment in central London. Our client had one aim in mind - The apartment MUST BE WARM AND COSY!
As this area was very large - over 71m2 and spread over just 1 level the real challange was producing an underfloor heating system that could allow different zones of heating at different times of the day. For instance the client asked us that in the evening she spent an hour or so in the dining area and then moved over to the lounge area.
This was no problem at all - we produced a heating system with 3 different zones each controlled by their own thermostat which could be programmed to come on at 4 different times during the day.
Our fully qualified underfloor heating installers fitted the entire apartment with an underwood heating system featuring individually controlled thermostats in each zone as well as a completely new RCD protected consumer unit to comply with 17th edition wiring regulations.
As soon as the heating was fitted our wood floor installers followed closely behind and installed a bamboo floor over the heating creating a state of the art primary heating system requiring no radiators.
As you can see below the effect was very impressive indeed!
Step 1
The room is cleared of all furniture and the floor is carefully swept to remove any debris and dust. The insulation boards are then laid in a brick pattern and taped together to prevent movement.
Step 2
The underwood heating system is now laid over the insulation boards.
Step 3
The wood floor is now laid directly over the underfloor heating mat
Step 4
The bamboo flooring is complete and the furniture is moved back into place - the heating is switched on and programmed and we have one happy customer!
